My Name is Parastoo [pæræstu:] which means Swallow bird in English or Hirundino in Latin. I'm a second year Computer Science PhD student at Stanford University, in the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) group. I'm co-advised by Prof. James Landay in the Computer Science department and Prof. Sean Follmer in the Mechanical Engineering department. In 2016, I graduated from the Engineering Science program at the University of Toronto, with a major in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a certificate in business. At University of Toronto, I was part of the Dynamic Graphics Project group and was advised by Prof. Daniel Wigdor for my undergraduate thesis.
