I love science video contest
2010 - Perimeter Institute of Theoretical Physics, Ontario, Canada
I created a 30 second Flash animation, showing why "I Love Science"
Perimeter Institute of Theoretical Physics asked high school students in Canada to submit an online video, showing why they love science in less than 30 seconds. Everything on the video had to be original, so I even had to create the soundtrack myself. Later, Allison (a student from Calgary) and I were chosen as the two grand prize winners of the contest, and we got the chance to attend Stephen Hawking's lecture at the PI; an unforgettable experience.
IYPT – 21st International Young Physics Tournament
2008 - The physics world cup, Trogir, Croatia
IYPT is an opportunity for teams from all over the world, to come together and present their solutions to 17 physics problems. My team and I spent 8 months working on those 17 physics problems, during which I improved upon both my problem solving and team work skills. Then, we presented the results in different rounds of the tournament, which were called the "physics fights". What I learned from those fights is how to communicate effectively in a short period of time.
